    Game changers

Posted by JJK on Nov 13th 2019

What I was hoping for, good slide, good stick, push nice, still breaking em in, so hoping they get a bit more pliable. Was concerned with lot's of loose stitching "ends", so far no problems trimming them off.

    Game changers

Best bag on the market. Your company is losing so many sales and players are finding other bags to use bc they can get game changers easily. Even if you put them back online, you have shot yourself in the foot.
Let me know when y’all decide to let me purchase 20-30 sets and i will see if my players will purchase them again can it will be easy access for them

Good quality. Not sure they are "game changing"

Long story short - these bags are high quality and will probably last a long time if care for properly. But for the average cornhole player I don't think they are game changing. In fact, they will probably make your game a little worse for a while. At least until you get used to the "sort of" sticky side.

Perhaps there are more differences than meets the eye, but it seems to me that there are two salient difference between the game changer bag and traditional two sided bag. The first difference is that the game changer includes a "sticky" side that includes a patch of material that is less slippery than the material used to form the rest of the bag. This allows (assuming the bag is thrown quite flat with the sticky side down) the patch to firmly contact and grip the board surface when it first hits the board (when the weight of the bag compresses the patch against the surface of the board). After the bag lands, the pressure on the patch is reduced, and the bag slides more easily on the board. as a result, once the game bag is on the board, it is fairly easy to perform push shots that can move it into the hole. To be honest, I am not certain whether this is a marked improvement over more more recent two sided bags that can be customized to have a desired degree of "slide" - particularly when an entire side of a two sided bag acts is presented as a sticky or slide side, whereas the sticky side of the game changer works consistently well only when the bag is thrown fairly flat.

The second and more significant difference between the game changer and a traditional two sided bag is the grip. With most two sided bags, the bag is sewn with a seam on all four sides of the bag, with a first (slippery) material on one side of the seam, and a second (sticky/suede) material on the other side of the seam. As a result, most users who employ a traditional bag grip will have one of those materials against their palm, and the other material against their fingers when the bag is thrown. In contrast, due to the "patch" design, when the game changer bag is gripped with a traditional grip and the patch down, the same type of material will be on contact with the fingers and the palm. Similarly, when the slid side is down, less of the palm will be on contact with the sticky/suede material of the patch than would be the case with a traditional two sided bag. Some users may find the relative consistency of the grip on both sides of the game changer bag to be preferable over the different feel of a two sided bag.

Ultimately, I don't think these bags will materially change any serious cornhole players game. That said, if you are looking for a nice bag, that will last a long time, and might have a better feeling grip than a two sided bag, it is worth giving the game changers a shot.
