"I had a homemade set made out of two by fours with a plywood top that warped. And the paint began to peel. While looking to replace those, I wanted something that was highly rated that look nice and that had low balance. And they needed to be available from Scheels so I could use my Scheels reward points. These boards fit the Bill! When I open them, I was surprised to see that most parts were made with what appears to be a plywood, but I think in the end it will be more durable and less prone to warping and hold up very well. These boards and their bags are hung proudly in my garage as somewhat of a focal point."

"Actually have the ACL Comp Matrix 2x4 Boards, but they didn’t come up when filling out the registration form that prompted this review. Nonetheless I’ve played many times on the ones pictured and they’re truly great boards. The Comp Matrix boards are so sleek looking and the contrast graphic really makes them standout! Somewhat question if the graphic will have them playing slower than say the boards pictured here as you can feel the edges of the graphics. Nonetheless, I’m very excited to break them in further and get my PPR up with some competition approved boards!"
